Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing excellent Client Service support to ADSSA clients in a courteous, professional
manner in order to improve client satisfaction of provided ADSSA services.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School diploma or GED or equivalent required
- A minimum of 2 Year previous experience in the healthcare industry working in a medical office
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all the levels both oral and written
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
- Experience with EPIC EMR (preferred)
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to type 40 words per minute preferred
- Bilingual Preferred. (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is obtained.
- Assist patients with check-in/check-out and registration process.
- Schedule appointments and manage appointment calendars.
- Answer phone calls promptly and address inquiries and or direct calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain patient records and update demographic information as needed.
- Verify insurance information and process necessary paperwork.
- Collect co-payments, deductibles, coinsurances, and balances if any.
- Coordinate patient referrals when necessary.
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as assigned.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patients’ arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
- Manage and organize patient files and medical records.
- Liaise between patients and medical staff to ensure smooth flow of information.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other team members.
- Relay messages accurately and promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
- Assist in the coordination of office lunches or meetings.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Safeguard sensitive information and maintain a secure office environment.
- Assist with back office medical assistant duties as assigned.
