Role Overview:
The Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control team provides a central hub for key business part analysis that demonstrates governance and oversight for all business / functional areas within TP ICAP. Key tasks and projects include measuring policy adherence, recommending operational efficiency protocols as well as tracking and implementing solutions.
The role of the Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control Analyst is to review and document all internal process and controls to ensure adequate oversight and compliance of corporate policy within the 1st Line of Defence.
The individual will need to help implement a regional 1st Line of Defence structure which meets the business demands of TP ICAP. They also need to be able to present all information in a clear, comprehensive manner, both verbal and written to TP ICAP Senior Management and their respective subordinates.
The individual will primarily work alongside TP ICAP’s Senior Management & Heads of Support on all business / control related initiatives. Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control ensures that as the risk profile in relation to risk appetite changes applicable controls and metrics within each business / function remain adequate, and that any issues requiring remediation are identified and addressed.
The Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control Analyst will champion the Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control mandate and as such is required to act as the critical part of the team who are tasked to embed the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) and its core risk management processes and practices in the 1st line. A key responsibility is to work with Senior Management (Business & Infrastructure) to ensure they are fully aware of their risks and controls and have a proactive response to governance and control (working closely with the Risk function, the 2nd Line of Defence).

Role Responsibilities:

• Act as a first point of contact for the Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control team
• Support the Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control Officers and Head of Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control, EMEA on ongoing BAU activity and projects
• Produce trend analysis for all asset classes and help the wider team produce regular MI and reporting
• Track all risk events, Issues, Actions and policy breaches across the asset classes to ensure timely escalation to the required parties.
• Partner with the Risk, Compliance & Audit functions to manage the 1LOD responsibilities relevant to the Group’s ERMF including all aspects of Operational Risk management
• Leverage the risk management system to enhance the 1st Line of Defence MI to demonstrate effectiveness of Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control responsibilities and objectives through dashboards, reporting & key risk management tools e.g., Control Indicators (KCI). The key responsibility is the identification of (through testing), tracking and monitoring of actions relevant to key control gaps and remediation
• The individual will also be required to promote the key message and mission statements of the Front Office Risk Management (FORM) Control objectives and promote an engaging, open, honest and diverse work environment and team.

Experience / Competences:

• Proven and self-motivated with excellent communication and influencing skills.
• A team player with a collaborative, proactive and responsive mind-set.
• Strong personal organisational skills with the ability to deliver under pressure with tight deadlines accompanied by excellent written and oral communication skills with evidence of attention to detail.
• Keen interest in Financial Services
• Proactive, willingness to learn and progress
• Excellent and proven written communication skills in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.
• Keen interest in producing MI & analysing data
• A-Levels (C grade plus)
