The Trust and Safety (TnS) platform team is responsible for protecting our users from harmful content and abusive behaviors. With the continuous efforts of our trust and safety platform team, TikTok can provide the best user experience and bring joy to everyone in the world. Our team is responsible for achieving goals by building moderation desktop applications, low-code engine & platform, and all kinds of supportive platforms across TnS organization.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.
Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer2025.
• Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, JavaScript, CSS, React.
• Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear and concise way.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong communication and excellent teamwork skills; being agile and a self-starter.

  Job Information
  The base salary range for this position in the selected city is CAD$ 7280 - CAD$ 87360 annually.

  The compensation for this position is based on a monthly compensation structure. The range specified is the expected annual compensation for a person in this position.

  Our time off and leave plans are: Paid holidays, vacation and paid sick leave. The sick leave entitlement is based on the time you join.
