We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to help us build and improve our carbon emissions accounting product. If our mission is aligned with your values and personal goals, we want to get to know you!
Your responsibilities
You help improve Plan A’s frontend architecture, improving interactions and user experience on the carbon accounting platform
Create flexible, maintainable, and reusable features that help users along their decarbonisation journey
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend, backend, data, design, and product, to make pragmatic decisions and contribute to technology and architecture decisions
Promote best practices and methodologies within the development team
Foster a healthy and collaborative development environment through transparent feedback and communication
Requirements
Highly proficient in CSS3, HTML5, and TypeScript
Strong experience with React
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest
You’ve worked in an agile development environment
You place high importance on scalability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the product
Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG 2.0) and best practices to create inclusive web applications
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal English
What makes you stand out
Experience with micro-frontend architecture such as single-spa
Experience with libraries such as TanStack, RTK, or Recharts
