ABOUT THE TEAM:

Shopee will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Shopee sponsorship of a visa.

The Marketplace App & Mobile Team is committed to developing high-performance mobile applications and enhancing user experience within our online marketplace, serving millions of users across various regions. We are seeking passionate individuals in technical product management to join our team and drive the implementation of technical products, ultimately improving the Shopee App’s efficiency and overall product experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for mobile app front-end development, using latest technologies in React, React Native
• Build various core business features for the Shopee mobile app, an unique opportunity to deliver world-class user experiences to millions of users globally
• Write clean and maintainable code, and optimize code to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
• Explore and evaluate the practicality of new technologies to improve existing products

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, expected to graduate either in Dec 2024 or Jun 2025
• Familiar with at least one programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, etc
• Solid understanding of computer fundamentals. Interested and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
• Demonstrate passion for front-end development
• Interest in Mobile App Development
• Good collaborator and team player
