Frontend Software Engineer

A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE HAS:

• 2+ years experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience building and shipping reliable software
• Some experience with React. You don’t need to be an expert, but we’ll expect you to demonstrate an understanding of fundamentals in the interview
• Full-stack/backend experience is useful, but not required
• We don’t require cyber-security industry specific experience

THE ROLE:

Cado Security is looking for a full time frontend software engineer to help build our products. Whatever part of the codebase you’re contributing to you’ll be expected to work closely with colleagues across the Cado team to help set the direction for the product and company.

Our tech stack:

• Frontend: Typescript, React, TailwindCSS, Cypress, Jest, NextJS
• Backend: Python, ElasticSearch, Postgres, Redis, AWS/Azure/GCP, Cloudformation & Terraform
• We invest heavily in automated testing and CI allowing us to ship multiple releases per week

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work as part of the team to ship novel features
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance that have particular impact across your team
• Mentor more junior members of the team
• Proactively investigate, fix and make improvements to prevent recurrence of customer bugs and build failures in your team’s area of the code
• Make it easier for other developers on your team to diagnose bugs (e.g. through pairing, documentation, improvements to logs, etc)
