At EY, our Business Transformation Consulting team works with financial services clients to reimagine and redesign the inner workings of their operations, enabling them to deliver on their corporate strategy, achieve cost and performance efficiencies and identify and capture growth opportunities for the future. We are currently seeking to hire into our Business Transformation Customer Team at Manager level.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand EY’s service offerings and actively support in delivering across our range of services.
  • Utilise your skills in the areas of structured problem solving, business analysis, analytics, design thinking, and lean process improvement to help our clients drive profitability and performance improvement through their business operations
  • Identify areas for process improvement across existing ways of working be it system, process, or people changes
  • Effectively analyse and define business requirements through stakeholder engagement and reviewing existing processes
  • Manage people and project teams & engage directly with client stakeholders to drive business outcomes, including the facilitation of client interviews, workshops, and project governance sessions
  • Be involved in projects across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from business case development to project execution and close-out
  • Help identify problems, opportunities and ideate methods for improving existing business processes and workflows
  • Helping to shape creative and innovative solutions to address client issues
  • Communicating effectively with the EY engagement team, the client and internal and external stakeholders, as required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise and develop others, effectively communicate, manage budgets, timelines, and plans, manage client expectations, deliver quality projects
  • Working confidently with clients, to support building trusted relationships
  • Stay abreast of latest Financial Service industry trends to drive innovation

TO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE

  • Strong understanding of core business operations gained through delivery of projects across areas such as strategy, operating model design, lean process improvement, waterfall and agile design transformation and delivery
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, gained through prior consulting roles or within financial services / technology organisations
  • 5 years proven experience in delivering transformation programmes in Financial Institutes
  • Be professional, quickly establishing personal credibility and demonstrating expertise
  • Developing and maintaining your personal training and development plan to ensure you continue to update and improve your skill profile on an ongoing basis
  • Supporting collaboration and teaming activities across engagements and across the Business Consulting team
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills; with experience in presenting to key client stakeholders
  • Understanding of trends and implications on the Financial Services industry
