JOB ADVERT SUMMARY

The purpose of this role is to assist with the management of FS4P. This refers to both strategic and operational management. In addition, meeting the targets as defined by the FS4P board involves the meeting of income and adviser numbers
This involves working with staff and independent advisers; liaising with external service providers; product providers and the Shareholder.
Recruiting and vesting professionally focused advisers, on a national basis, is key to the success of FS4P. This involves travelling within South Africa. There will be specific areas of focus; yet the national focus remains pre-eminent.
The manager is responsible for assisting with managing risks, staff, advisers, implementation compliance changes and processes.
Relationship building on various levels with numerous stakeholders and providers, internally and externally is key to the success of this role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • A bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
  • Post Graduate qualification advantageous
  • CFP advantageous

Experience:

  • Senior Management experience (5+ years)
  • Sales experience in the broker environment (7+years)
  • Compliance and regulatory knowledge
  • Financial Industry experience (15+ years)
  • Risk Management
  • Service and Administration experience (7+ years)

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Control: The maintenance and development of a financially controlled environment within FS4P in line with budgets.
  2. Operational processes: Effective interaction with and participating in setting up of operational efficiency processes on an ongoing basis
  3. Recruitment: Based on targeted growth of advisers per year, focussing on the appropriate professionally focussed advisers
  4. Vesting advisers: Existing advisers need to be developed and assisted to grow their practice and client base in line with their own growth path and targets. Constant interaction with and regular reviews need to be conducted.
  5. Marketing: The creation, maintenance and re-evaluating the value-proposition of FS4P followed by implementing the vision through all marketing tools and processes. This includes the website, brochures, banners, and events etc.
  6. Compliance: Being a Key Individual on the Juristic Rep licence entails personal responsibility for the conduct of all advisers. Implementing all regulatory changes and organizing training to comply with CPD and other legislative requirements.
  7. Risk Management: Identify, manage and review all risks in the business.
  8. Other responsibilities: Various other functions are required such as organizing the annual conference, events with advisers, sponsorships, referral agreements,
