With approximately 450 staff, Peninsula Co-op operates 17 retail fuel and convenience centres, 10 liquor stores, 5 commercial card lock and home heating outlets, and a full-sized food store. The Co-op generates approximately $300 million in annual sales and donates over $500k each year to local charities. Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Fuel and Convenience Centre Associate (we like to call you a Customer Service Representative). We have a full-time, working 32 - 40 hours per week opportunity available at our Millstream Fuel and Convenience Centre, located at 2320 Millstream Rd. Victoria, BC V9B 3R3. Our ideal candidate is flexible and can accommodate a variety of shifts, including both weekdays and weekends, with the understanding that schedules may change from week to week.

- Always looks for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite
- Loves the great outdoors. Rain, wind, snow and blazing hot sun mean nothing.
- Able to be on their feet nearly all their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 50 pounds)
- Good with numbers and can handle cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately.
- Looks out for their safety and the safety of others.
- Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate.
- Knowing their way around under the hood of a car is also helpful, but not essential - we train for this.

Responsibilities:
Besides working with the best group of teammates and serving fantastic customers, you will be dispensing fuel and propane, washing windows, checking vehicle fluid levels, cleaning, and stocking the convenience store, processing payments at the till, and generally ensuring our customers are taken care of and the location is clean and safe.
