Description:
We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Peabody, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and crafting annual budgets. You will also be tasked with conducting B2B collections, utilizing Microsoft Excel, and managing financial reporting. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all bookkeeping functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, adjusting as necessary
- Use Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis
- Conduct B2B collections, ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner
- Generate financial reports for management review
- Maintain a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
- Ensure all financial data is stored securely and in compliance with industry regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with Accounting Functions
- Knowledge in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Capability to prepare and manage Annual Budget
- Proven experience in Bookkeeping Functions
- Proficiency in Financial Reporting
- Experience in B2B collections
- Ability to communicate effectively and work independently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in accounting or related field
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
