Description:

We are in the process of hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Lebanon, New Jersey, working in the Non-Profit sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, from processing transactions to producing financial reports. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Utilizing Accounting Software Systems to maintain precise records
  • Preparation and management of billing functions as per organizational needs
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook, for various accounting tasks
  • Regular utilization of ADP - Financial Services for payroll and other related functions
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company procedures
  • Providing timely and accurate financial information to management
  • Assisting in other financial tasks as needed.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the non-profit sector
  • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
  • Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and Outlook
  • Understanding and experience in managing accounting functions
  • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
  • Familiarity with Billing Functions
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
