Description:

We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to our client’s team in the real estate development sector. The role is based in Jupiter, Florida, with the flexibility to work remotely for a part of the week. As the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal role in their financial and administrative operations, helping to support the growth and stability of their firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile general ledger, bank accounts, and all other financial accounting aspects.
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheets, income and profit and loss statements.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide administrative support to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of accounting functions
  • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Ability to prepare and manage an annual budget
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks software
  • Experience in providing administrative assistance
  • Proficiency in calendar management
  • Experience in managing month-end close processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
