As a Full Cycle Accountant, you’ll manage daily accounting tasks, maintain our books, and ensure budget integrity for our sister company, Sundae Creative. You’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of our financial operations, actively balance campaign budgets, and provide essential operational support through meticulous auditing and adjustments. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for the reconciliation of credit card transactions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong grasp of financial principles and the ability to ensure accuracy across all financial documentation.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE EXPECTED TO DO:

  • Oversee day-to-day management of financial books and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Understand and interpret the financial dynamics of Sundae Creative, contributing to strategic financial decisions.
  • Monitor and balance budgets allocated to specific campaigns.
  • Conduct detailed budget reviews, audit financial activities, and implement necessary corrections to maintain fiscal integrity.
  • Provide financial oversight on projects, offering operational support and insights into the financial status of ongoing projects.
  • Prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and assist with the development and enforcement of internal financial controls.
  • Manage and reconcile company credit card transactions and handle other reconciliations as needed.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable; oversee collections processes to ensure timely client payments.
  • Assist the Sundae Creative team with general financial management tasks
  • Ensure that budgets are meticulously maintained and analyzed to determine if financial resources are utilized efficiently and if there are surplus funds.
  • Take ownership of the annual budget process.
