For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.
DIGIT A3, in collaboration with Commission services and stakeholders, delivers corporate solutions and information systems for departments like SG, DG HR, PMO, EPSO, DG GROW, and DG MOVE, supporting the Commission’s Digital Transformation and EU policies.
DIGIT A3 develops and manages solutions in Legislation, Policy, and Human Resources, including HR systems (SYSPER, e-Sire, NDP), financial rights tools (NAP, Assmal2, MiPS, Sermed, PABS), recruitment platforms (Talent Suite, Candidate portal), document management (ARES, HAN), and decision-making tools (DECIDE, ECI).

Your role

• Develop front-end website architecture.
• Build back-end web applications.
• Design user interactions on web pages.
• Implement core business logic.
• Create and develop APIs.
• Set up servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensure security and data protection.
• Optimize applications for cross-platform compatibility.
• Design responsive web applications.
• Contribute to the design and development of scalable software.
• Lead projects when necessary.
• Maintain code quality and organization.
• Write clean, functional code for both front- and back-end.
• Analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot issues and find improvement opportunities.
• Test and resolve bugs or coding issues.
• Address both technical and user needs.
• Write technical documentation.

Who we think you are

• Strong expertise in back-end languages and frameworks like Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
• Solid understanding of front-end frameworks and libraries like Angular and Bootstrap.
• Good knowledge of database systems like Oracle and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with application and web servers, including Weblogic, Tomcat, and Apache.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with tools like Bamboo.
• Proficient in version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Familiarity with AWS and Amazon Workspaces.
