Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Integration: Design, develop, and integrate complex technological components using Java, Spring, and various frameworks.
• Requirement Implementation: Analyze and implement user requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Prototyping & Testing: Create prototypes and test programs to ensure quality and functionality.
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration with other applications and services.
• Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Deployment & Configuration: Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining the system.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in meetings with project teams to discuss progress, requirements, and technical solutions.

Educational Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree (Level 6 of the European Qualification Framework, equivalent to 3 years of higher education).

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Frontend Development: Strong expertise in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Backend Development:

o In-depth knowledge of Java 8, Java 11 (Java 17+ is a plus).
o Experience with Spring (Core, JPA/Hibernate, Security, MVC).
o Proficiency in relational databases (RDBMS).

o Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and service-oriented architecture.

• Frameworks & Tools:

o Proficient in Spring Boot, jUnit, Mockito, Maven, Gradle, GIT, Bitbucket.
o Familiarity with Angular and NPM.
o Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
o Familiarity with Oracle (version 8+) or MySQL (version 5+).

o Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).

• Security & APIs:

o Understanding of modern security frameworks (JWT, JWE, JWKS, OIDC, CAS).

o Knowledge of encryption, API gateways (WSO2, Spring Cloud Gateway).

• DevOps & Cloud:

o Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.

o Understanding of DevSecOps is a plus.

• Web Standards: Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0/2.1, WAI-ARIA) and UX design best practices.

Additional Non-Technical Skills:

• Experience working in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (C1 level).
• French (B1 level) is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• High level of integrity and discretion due to handling sensitive data.

Location: Near-Site, with occasional travel to Brussel
