REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive experience in API integration, particularly with HR systems like Docebo (LMS)
- Proficiency in web development technologies including JavaScript, React, Node.js, Go, Docker, Git/Git Hub, and RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of security and compliance (i..e. HIPAA) considerations for web development projects, including authentication methods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with internal teams for ensuring successful knowledge transfer
- Proven track record of documenting processes and requirements for software development projects
- UI/UX design experience highly preferred
- A shareable portfolio of active websites and/or link - we want to see your code in action (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) OR experience in a coding bootcamp with a focus on web development (highly preferred)
Responsibilities:
POSITION PURPOSE
As a Contract Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in advancing our technology solutions by focusing on two primary projects: Integrating our Learning Management System (Docebo) API into our proprietary HRIS system and developing an employee self-service site. Your expertise in API integration and breadth of knowledge with UX and web development will be instrumental in achieving our project goals.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with our internal Software Engineer to integrate Docebo API into our proprietary HRIS system, focusing on streamlining compliance documentation processes
- Develop a user-friendly and efficient employee self-service site using technologies such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, Go, Docker, Git/Git Hub, and RESTful APIs, ensuring security and compliance with authentication methods like Google, Apple, and custom email/password credentials
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, utilizing communication tools such as Teams, Outlook, and Monday.com to track project progress and ensure seamless collaboration
- Document process flows for both integration and self-service site development projects, providing clear documentation for future reference
