MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience developing full-stack web applications professionally.
• Strong developer with object-oriented design and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in React, and Python (Django) with at least 2 years of development experience.
• Experience working with Postgres is desirable.
• Experience delivering efficient, reliable, and maintainable software.
• Responds well to coaching and constructive criticism.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with Layer 3/4 Networking.
• Proficiency with metrics and monitoring tools like Datadog and Grafana.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a relevant degree.

The ControlOne Team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and innovating new features, while ensuring stability for our high quality SASE platform. They manage multiple web-based services that support our network infrastructure, edge vpn software, and bridge hardware products. Their work ensures seamless and reliable internet and local network experiences across all platforms. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will help us take on significant engineering challenges, such as: building complex and reusable components, optimizing for scale and reliability, inventing new algorithms and finding opportunities for increasing the maintainability or serviceability of software systems. At the same time, you will be applying engineering best practices, and helping to create a culture of software quality, security, and operational excellence throughout the organization. You will work with Product Managers, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders to execute on the product roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the rest of the sprint team and contribute to all areas of the development lifecycle, including development, testing, and releasing.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing software applications, including debugging, patch development, and feature enhancement.
• Communicate effectively and competently with other team members on functionality and integration points of application software.
• Create and maintain documents for applications and systems that are developed or supported.
