Senior Application Programmer On behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector, Procom is looking for a Senior Application Programmer Senior Application Programmer– Job Description

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in below listed technology stacks in industry
• Intensive experience in the analysis, design, development, support of global financial applications
• Exposure to Functional and non-functional testing of applications
• Experience on server-side development using Java technologies
• Experience with Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket etc.
• MUST: Extensive experience in Java 8 and relational database Oracle
• MUST: 6+ years of experience in Core Java, Java Collection, Java Concurrency and building thread safe code
• Well versed with industry standard design techniques/coding practices/development principles
• Ability to work as part of global team and independently
• Interpersonal skills to interact with team members and clients
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Candidate should be willing to learn latest technologies as per projects/market trends

• Bachelor’s degree /B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience

  Senior Application Programmer– Mandatory Skills

• Project Management experience in medium-to-large size projects impacting multiple functional areas

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence (tools needed to track requirements and implementation) is an asset
• Ability to manage resource allocations and financial reporting outside of a dedicated automated toolset.
• Possesses knowledge of Project Management best practices
• Has exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to summarize large amount of information to drive decision making
• Has excellent organizational skills (ability to employ a systematic approach to drive and track execution, identify and track inter-dependencies, ensure proper resolution of outstanding items, and structure meetings/discussions)
• Has ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders to deliver in the most efficient manner
• Has the ability to escalate and communicate critical information to ensure project health
• Can manage resource allocations with multiple stakeholders and limited tool set (primarily utilize MS Excel to maintain resource forecast and validate actuals against)
• Has the ability to proactively identify risks and issues and can drive issue resolution
• Can lead others to ensure timely execution of tasks required for project completion
• Agile experience
• Working with various Pods experience
• Experience working with developers in agile space
• Business and tech experience

Senior Application Programmer– Preferred Skills

• Nice to have experience in Spring Boot, Micro Services (RESTful)
