Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is seeking for a Full Stack Developer with 10 to 15 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Aurora and PostgreSQL, Amazon API, Gateway, AWS S3 , Angular, .Net Core, Infra CI CD Pipelines, Bitbucket and Visual Studio. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our business goals.

Office Location: Charlotte, NC- position is Hybrid.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10-15 years of experience in full-stack development and AWS cloud services.
  • Front-end: UI Development: High Proficiency with Angular
  • Back-end: Development: Strong background in .NET Core.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform to automate cloud resources.
  • CI/CD: Extensive knowledge in Concourse for continuous integration and delivery.
  • IDE: Proficient in using Visual Studio.
  • Source Control: Experience with Bitbucket for code repositories.
  • Cloud Services:
  • AWS Lambda: Building and deploying serverless functions.
  • AWS API Gateway: Setting up, deploying, and managing APIs.
  • AWS S3: Experience in S3 integrations and operations.
  • Database Management:
  • Aurora: Experience in working with AWS Aurora databases. Advanced knowledge in database management, optimization, and queries.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

    The annual salary for this position is between $120,500.00 – $163,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust software solutions using Aurora and PostgreSQL to ensure optimal database performance and reliability.
  • Implement and manage Amazon API Gateway to facilitate seamless integration and communication between various services.
  • Utilize AWS S3 for efficient storage and retrieval of data ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Develop dynamic and responsive web applications using Angular enhancing user experience and engagement.
  • Leverage .Net Core to build scalable and high-performance backend services that support our business operations.
  • Establish and maintain Infra CI CD Pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle and ensure continuous delivery.
  • Use Bitbucket for version control and collaboration ensuring code quality and consistency across the team.
  • Employ Visual Studio as the primary development environment to enhance productivity and code management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software solutions are free of defects and meet quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies incorporating best practices into the development process.
