Cottage Dream Vacations is seeking an experienced Full-Stack IT Developer and Systems Specialist with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects under tight schedules. This role requires expertise in WordPress development, advanced coding, database management, cloud infrastructure, IT operations, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in relevant fields, along with industry knowledge in hospitality, real estate, and training.
This position reports directly to the EVP of Hospitality and plays a critical role in optimizing our IT ecosystem. Join us as we expand our resort locations and digital platforms, revolutionizing the hospitality and real estate education industries in Canada!
Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Advanced WordPress Development

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress projects, including plugins, themes, and integrations with external APIs and services.

  Coding & System Integration

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Java and Python to enhance WordPress functionality and support system integrations.

• Implement and optimize seamless system integrations across multiple technologies to improve workflows and user experience.

  Database Management

• Design and manage Firebase Realtime Databases for secure and efficient data storage.

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.

  CRM & Marketing Automation

• Manage and enhance CRM platforms, including Go HighLevel, and integrate them with ClickFunnels to optimize marketing pipelines.

  Cloud Infrastructure

• Architect, deploy, and manage Google Cloud infrastructure, including services such as BigQuery and Firebase to support business operations.

  Cybersecurity & IT Operations

• Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures to safeguard company assets and data integrity.

• Manage daily IT operations, including troubleshooting, support, and infrastructure optimization.

  Industry-Specific IT Solutions

• Apply hospitality, real estate, and training industry insights to develop tailored IT solutions that align with business goals.

  Project Management & Delivery

• Lead and deliver IT projects on time and within scope while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  Knowledge Requirements:

  Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in WordPress development, including custom plugin and theme creation.

• Extensive Java and Python coding experience for back-end development and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase Realtime Database and Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL query writing and optimization.

• Proven track record of implementing ClickFunnels and managing Go HighLevel CRM for marketing automation.

  Industry Knowledge

• Strong understanding of IT solutions for hospitality, real estate, and training businesses.

  Project Management

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in delivering complex IT projects on tight deadlines.

  Cybersecurity & IT Operations

• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing cybersecurity protocols.

• Experience in network and cloud architecture management.
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in advanced workflow automation and system integration.
• Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools.
• Certifications in Google Cloud, cybersecurity, or IT project management.
