As a Full Stack Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software by developing and executing test strategies, managing releases, and actively contributing to the development of our applications. JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Full Stack Quality Engineer, you are the driving force behind the quality of our software products. You play a key role in the entire development process and work closely with various teams to ensure seamless releases of our applications. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end testing, combined with a keen eye for detail, contributes to meeting the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- TEST STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATIONDesign, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies for both front-end and back-end applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities.
- RELEASE MANAGEMENTManage and coordinate software releases, ensuring a flawless and timely delivery of new versions without compromising quality.
- AUTOMATION & CI/CDAutomate testing processes and set up continuous integration and delivery pipelines to maximize the efficiency of the development process.
- PRODUCTION LOG ANALYSISAnalyze log information from customer production environments to gain valuable insights. Derive lessons learned, discuss them with the team, and implement improvement actions to drive continuous improvement.
- COLLABORATION & PROBLEM SOLVINGWork closely with the development team to identify and resolve quality issues early, and actively participate in the development of new features.
- PERFORMANCE MONITORING & ROOT CAUSE ANALYSISMonitor the performance of our applications, conduct root cause analyses when issues arise, and propose solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & BEST PRACTICESContribute to optimizing development processes and promoting best practices in software quality within the team.
- DOCUMENTATION & REPORTINGEnsure clear documentation of test results, release notes, and technical reports to keep all stakeholders well-informed.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on quality and testing.
- In-depth knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular/React, .NET, Java, etc.).
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
