MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Go and TypeScript.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and other Cloud IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS products.
• Interest in the latest web standards and technologies.
• Prior exposure to Ory’s open source projects is preferred.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

This role is responsible to design, engineer, test, run, automate, and document Ory services in both closed and open source work.

KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES

• Design, build and maintain production code for Ory Network, Ory Enterprise License, and Ory Open Source, creating fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications.
• Develop prototypes to test out ideas.
• Collaborate with the Ory Open Source community to build and expand the Ory Open Source ecosystem.
• Devise innovative ideas for solving Ory Network customer problems and translate these ideas into technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership and solve end-to-end problems, for instance, software design, efficient implementation, and product offering.
• Design and create solutions for problems that are not clearly defined or straightforward.
• Write documentation in code and for new user-facing features.
• Mentor more junior software engineers.
