WHAT WE DO

We are an expense management firm which means we work with clients to devise strategies and solutions that will help contain, lower and/or optimize their expenses within 3 main areas:
1. Utilities – electricity and natural gas including retail contract procurement, delivery charge reviews and energy efficiency reviews.
2. Credit card processing – providing POS solutions that offer businesses state of the art features at a price that is fair and reasonable.
3. Cell phone management – using our pooled data management approach, we provide affordable cell phone plans for businesses and personal use.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years experience as a software or web developer, with strong coding skills in c# and SQL.
• Experience with javascript, CSS, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET
• Experience with both front-end and back-end development, allowing you to contribute across the full stack.
  Bonus points if you have experience with:
• React.js, node.js, or angular.
• Cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Customizing or integrating with existing CRM products, such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
• Working with or maintaining Document Storage products such as SharePoint.
• Working with or maintaining WordPress sites.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Legally able to work in Canada.
• Recognized degree, diploma or certificate.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, in a professional office environment is preferred.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, handle multiple tasks, and work efficiently within tight deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptive in response to team needs.
• You are able to comprehend and solve complex problems that internal and external clients may experience along with an ability to determine solutions aimed at solving pain points.
• Able to work independently, as well as being a team player who can work collaboratively with multiple team members across varying seniority levels.

8760 is looking to add a creative and motivated Full Stack Web Developer to its team. Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, this role is an important part of the development team and will be responsible for contributing to implementing and testing new features for internal business web applications, as well as performing maintenance and testing tasks on existing web and windows-based applications. Most of the work will be on web applications, but the occasional windows-based development task will arise. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to developing and deploying brand-new business solutions over time to replace existing technologies.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Gather requirements from stakeholders in the company and convert them into technical specifications.
- Develop and test code and scripts for new or existing web and windows-based applications.
- Develop and test database objects for use in applications or reports.
- Develop and test reports for specific business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing web and windows-based applications.
- Prioritize tasks based on directives provided by Director, Information Technologyand company stakeholders
- Act as client support for system issues that may arise
- Document code clearly and concisely
- Handling day-to-day operations and specific tasks in a busy environment
- Taking on other duties as assigned
