Raise your hand if that’s you! E3 is looking to hire a Community Engagement Professional with all of the above attributes to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

This position develops, coordinates and evaluates individualized, group and virtual services that are designed to promote personal welfare, independence, education, self-determination, community participation and social skills as part of a person-directed support plan. Duties include:

  • Curriculum development including research, resource management and the application of specific individual needs in the design of individualized (1:1), group and virtual services
  • Coordinate service offerings for individuals across multiple community and E3 locations
  • Develop strategies for individual service access including transportation, staffing support, use of technology and community fees
  • Facilitation of service and training for individuals and liaison with individuals, family and primary care providers and/or community partners
  • Provide support in all aspects of daily living as required including personal care, hygiene, domestic skills, employment, education, home maintenance, money management, use of community businesses and resources, recreation, medical, medications and safety
  • Participate in the planning process for individuals and assist in the development of strategies to achieve the plan
  • Participate in training, visits, inspections and meetings for compliance
  • Assist individuals in understanding and exercising their rights in a safe and responsible manner
  • Participate in training, visits, inspections, and meetings for compliance
  • Engage and encourage business owners/operators to include people who have different abilities in their hiring and recruitment processes, supporting both the business and the individual in all aspects of the employee relationship, onboarding, training, performance management, and retention
  • Maintain accurate individual and agency records, and follow reporting procedures and guidelines while complying with the current agency information, policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Operate facility’s vehicles in compliance with company policies and government statutes and promote safety and well-being of self and others at all times
