REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications: Diploma (Bankstown) or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (Leichhardt); approved by ACECQA
Certifications: Current First Aid Certificate, Current Working with Children Check
Skills: Great communication, team player, passion for early childhood education
Full working rights are required as this is a Monday-Friday, full-time position

Responsibilities:

OPEN FULL-TIME ROLES:

  • Leichhardt: Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)
  • Bankstown: Diploma Educator

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • To develop strong relationships with children at the service
  • To develop the Children’s Program (reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines).
  • In compliance with the OH&S Policy, ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children, with particular attention to children with anaphylaxis, allergies, asthma etc.
  • To ensure that accurate records are kept in regards to accident, incident, injury, illness and medication
  • To implement the service’s philosophy in undertaking all other duties
  • To liaise with families in regards to the day to day happenings.
