Description:

The Hyatt Centric Hotel is excited to be recruiting for a Full-time Experienced Accommodation Assistant to join our award winning team.
This is Ireland’s first Hyatt Hotel. Adjacent to St Patrick’s Cathedral, this 234 bedroom 4 Star property will include restaurant, bar, meeting and event facilities and fitness centre. Working within the highly respected Hodson Bay Group, and with the impressive support of the Hyatt Partnership, explore this exciting journey with us in introducing and establishing the Hyatt Centric, The Liberties Dublin, as a leading hotel in the Capital.

As an Experienced Accommodation Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout our hotel.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience as an Accommodation Assistant or in a similar housekeeping role is desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare guest rooms to a high standard, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitising bathrooms, and replenishing amenities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Ensure all checklists are completed.
  • Ensure efficient use of hotel resources and proper handling of soiled laundry.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional amenities, room changes, or any special requirements, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the safe handling of chemicals and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Work closely with other members of the housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms or public areas to the maintenance department for timely repair.
