We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, results-oriented Qualified Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a professional looking to grow their career in a supportive, dynamic environment within a growing organization.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Recently qualified ACA/ACCA with a strong academic record.
Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
Strong accounting knowledge and application of FRS 102 Accounting Standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A proactive problem-solver with a high level of initiative.
Team player with the ability to develop effective working relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day finance team activities, including journal processing, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintaining the fixed asset register.
Take full ownership of month-end financial accounts preparation and balance sheet reporting for all group entities.
Assist the Financial Controller by maintaining accuracy in the general ledger and managing various stakeholders.
Meet key deadlines efficiently and competently.
Review costs for all group entities and assist with budgeting and forecasting on a quarterly and annual basis.
Prepare the month-end management reporting PowerPoint deck for review by the Finance Director.
Coordinate with other departments such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Operations.
Review and submit tax returns on ROS, prepared by a part-qualified accountant—VAT, Intrastat, 46G.
Support year-end reporting, including year-end pack preparation, disclosure information pack, and liaising with auditors for group and statutory audits.
Assist in improving dashboard reporting and implementing ongoing internal control reviews and improvements across the business.
Engage in ad hoc project work as required.
