REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to travel throughout our service area
- Valid physical therapy assistant license in Maryland
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health or a related field, focusing on treating accident and injury patients.
- Have graduated from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries and experience working with insurance companies and case managers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patients’ homes.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled physical therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and education on injury prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, other healthcare professionals, insurance adjusters, and case managers to coordinate patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing information.
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper techniques for exercises and activities of daily living, as well as strategies for managing pain and reducing the risk of re-injury.
