Smit Lamnalco is seeking expressions of interest from qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Masters to join our growing fleet within our Weipa/AMRUN operations on a full time basis.
Job Description

As an ASD Tug Master, you are responsible for the safe navigation and operation of the vessel and crew. You will:

  • Supervise crew members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and maintenance reports.
  • Adhere to all relevant maritime regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Participation in skills and competency training including the training of other crew members, and trainees

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional maritime knowledge, and a dedication to safety.
