Description:
Liberty Tax Service in Burnaby is currently seeking a Full time Receptionist . The Receptionist greets clients arriving at the office, answers and forwards telephone calls, takes messages, and performs other clerical duties. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 or GED required
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced administrative role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment
- Effective problem solving and negotiating skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Type 60+ words per minute

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Take drop offs and ensure all the required information is provided by the client
- Take payments for completed returns and records it on our system
- Maintain communications with clients when their returns are ready to be picked up
- Maintain switchboard and direct incoming calls
- Take messages and forward to voicemail accordingly
- Schedule appointments and update the calendar
- Prepare mails to be send out and track them in our sheets
- Open incoming mail, sort and distribute as necessary
- Prepare bank deposit and bring to the bank
- Handle all miscellaneous request from all front office personnel
- Ensure that all office supplies are adequate
