Full Time Saw Operator/Warehouse Worker

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Trained and certified to operate forklifts,
Trained and certified to operate overhead cranes
Attention to detail with numbers and measuring tools is necessary, and
Ability to read and understand a tape measure is a must.
Good computer skills and good verbal communication are required.
Other qualifications that would be preferred
Operation of Side Loaders (Hubtex, Combilift, Raymond)
Operation of horizontal Band Saws and/or Industrial Cold Saws

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent) or related training and experience.
A successful candidate must pass a criminal background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $27.31 per hour

• Operate Forklift to move finished orders around the warehouse in a safe manner.
• Operate overhead crane to load and unload machines in a safe manner.
• Communicate any errors noted on orders to a supervisor.
• Put material into stock pans, racks in an easy to access and safe manner.
• Follow directions listed on the order to fulfill customer requirements.
• Measure material to ensure that the bar filled is the bar that was ordered.
• Work with other warehouse staff positions to meet warehouse needs or customer needs, directed by the Management.
• Maintain cleanliness in your work area and the warehouse.
• Participate in the Company’s Quality and Health & Safety Programs.
• Perform any other jobs as requested by Management. Training provided.
