Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or production facility environment.
  • Stationary Engineer Class 3 required OR Refrigeration Class B license with Stationary Engineer Class 4.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate to people at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to work with others cooperatively, safely and in a structured and team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instruction, with attention to detail, while still being able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Help ensure support equipment is maintained to a level that will allow production cases required by daily schedule.
  • Start-up and operation of the production support equipment (i.e. Ammonia System, air compressors, boilers, Water Treatment System, etc.).
  • Support and complies with Food Safety, Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP).
  • Keep all equipment and work areas clean.
  • Follow-up with Maintenance Planner as required on parts ordered to ensure availability when needed.
  • Check assigned area for problems and determine any problems so that they can be addressed through in house or external maintenance resources.
  • Instruct other technicians as requested in own area of expertise.
  • Comply with all Company Safety Policies and Standards.
