Description:

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of Surveillance Officers at the site level as well as monitoring interior and exteri or areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras. Ensures adherence to the Company�s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian�s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcomi ng work environment for all team members.Key Accountabilities

  • Monitors Surveillance Operators; verifies timesheets; provides input for performance evaluations
  • Monitors, documents and reports violations, larg e cash/cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
  • Maintains logs; prepares daily reports; stores records securely for evidence purposes
  • Monitors, documents and reports on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment; performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required
  • Trains new team members
  • Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Builds strong working relation ships with guests and team members
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Manages other incentives as required

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High Sc hool Diploma
  • Post secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of surveillance or security experience; minimum 1 year of supervisory experience; gaming experien ce preferred
  • Responsible liquor service and Food Safety Certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriente d communication
