Today we are running simultaneous experiments across several hundreds of teams working on a multitude of different products built for hundreds of millions of users. Experimentation touches almost all of our functions from marketing via content management to consumer products. On top of that, we’re making our experimentation platform available to external companies in the form of Confidence. And we are only in the very beginning of this transformative journey. You will join a multidisciplinary team that shares the passion of bringing the best experimentation platform to the world. As an engineer in our team you will have the opportunity to develop all your engineering skills - from core backend systems to sophisticated frontends. What You’ll Do

  • Develop new high-scale services within the experimentation domain
  • Work across the full stack (backend, frontend, data) with an emphasis on backend, to bring features and solutions to life
  • Be a valued member of an autonomous, multi-functional team and contribute to growing the skills and knowledge of your peers
  • Facilitate collaboration with other specialists, product owners, and designers to ensure we deliver the maximum value to our customers
  • Work in an environment that supports your individual growth by providing you with challenging work, the freedom to acquire new skills during hack days, through participation in thematic guilds, and through a variety of internal training courses
  • Join our on-call rotations

Who You Are

  • You have several years of working experience in building scalable systems
  • You are proficient in Java and Typescript/Javascript
  • You have a solid backend foundation and you feel comfortable working across the entire tech stack and have a keen interest to develop your skills in new domains
  • You have experience and knowledge from a broad set of technologies and practices, for example, experimentation, UX/frontend, API design and implementation, or cloud stacks such as GCP
  • You are a generalist with a product-focused mindset, not afraid of stepping out of your role to get things done
  • You have experience working in a high-ambiguity environment where taking initiative is expected - maybe you have been an early employee at a startup
  • You show a deep knowledge of how to write robust, maintainable applications, and a reasonable understanding of how to work with distributed high-volume applications
