Fullstack Engineer

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and self-driven Full-Stack Engineer to join our KOHmute team and contribute to the development and scaling of our backend services and existing mobile application.
You will be a founding member of the KOHmute team and join our mission in providing the best operational tools to our drivers and customers to foster work efficiency and smooth travel experience. The app is used to assist our users with operational tasks, such as booking of seats and checking-in of passengers, and live update of location and navigation of routes by our drivers. The team consists of a mobile engineer and is now looking to expand its capacity to continue the development of our app.

REQUIREMENTS

• You have at least 2 years of experience as a software engineer (Fresh graduates will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
• You have gained extensive experience in developing backend and cloud services
• You are well familiar with Kotlin or Java
• You have good knowledge of React Native and TypeScript
• Experience in working with kafka and data streaming pipelines
• Hands on experience in automation and deployment of applications into cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) using Terraform
• You have good communication skills and a pragmatic, solution driven style of work
• You enjoy an agile, autonomous environment where you own your work

• Take hands on development responsibilities within the team: design, develop, deploy and ensure good maintenance of products and services
• Lead technical decisions to improve technical excellence
• Take part in the definition of the product vision and strategy
• Contribute to the overall mobile strategy in our domain
• Contribute in finding the best solutions to facilitate the work of drivers, support and operations personnel
• Help define what success looks like and use metrics to evaluate progress towards your goals
