Description:
The Landbanking Group (TLG) has been initiated as a moonshot project to revolutionise the way land is being valued and used by land stewards at a moment where ecosystem services are critical prerequisites for equitable, resilient and climate compatible prosperity and peace.
TLG is committed to the SDGs, the Paris Climate Agreement and the biodiversity targets of the High Ambition Coalition. It is a private, social-benefit company that brings together leading scientists, company builders, technology experts and investors.
Our mission is to completely transform the way we use land in these unprecedented times of accelerating climate change, mass extinction and social divide.
TLG will integrate various geospatial data sources and make use of the latest machine learning models for satellite imaging, carbon footprint and biodiversity analysis. Furthermore, metagenomics, open supply chain, and other relevant data enables us to develop digital twins of land plots, assess ecosystem quality, verify proof of impact and tokenize the claims so that they can be traded or bundled into tradable assets.
TLG is now looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our ambitious, cross-functional teams and help build a global-level technology platform. As a Software Engineer, together with your team, you will be responsible for implementing and connecting the APIs, algorithms and tools necessary for our goals.

- Agile Planning: Contribute to agile planning practices by defining work breakdown, estimating task complexity and duration, and setting milestones for both frontend and backend tasks.

- Incident Analysis and Troubleshooting: Conduct analysis and troubleshooting of incidents across the entire stack, addressing both frontend and backend issues.
- Collaboration and Integration: Proactively collaborate with different internal and external teams for integrations and knowledge sharing, ensuring seamless coordination between frontend and backend implementations.
- 5+ years of practical experience as a Software Engineer, with a proven track record of shipping large web applications and scale software or web applications.
- Advanced knowledge of React, JavaScript, Python, Django, and Django REST Framework, as well as common engineering tools like Git, Jira
- Experience with concepts such as CI/CD, containers (Docker), and related tools for both frontend and backend development.
