We seek a dynamic and experienced Functions & Events Manager to join our dedicated team.

Skills and Experience
- Responsible Service of Alcohol and RP Badge
- Extensive and proven experience in functions, events, and marketing/promotions
- Proven experience managing a team and working with others
- Qualifications in hospitality or business (preferable)
- Ability to set and maintain services standards through ongoing training and development of front-of-house staff
- Background in developing, organising, and managing a range of functions and events
- Experience with social media and promotional activities
- Excellent interpersonal communication, mentoring, and time management skills
- A hands-on leadership style and team player attitude
- Ability to accept significant levels of responsibility and accountability
- Extensive knowledge of food, wine, spirit, and beer
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Excellent administrative abilities and proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Ability to train, motivate, and counsel staff in relation to performance issues
- Strong decision-making skills relating to staffing, patron comfort and care, and strategic business issues
Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination: Meet with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored package options, and ensure all details are meticulously planned and executed.
- Logistics Management: Arrange and coordinate services such as displays, audio-visual equipment, and catering. Create and revise event floor plans and orders.
- Team Leadership: Brief and supervise front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and efficient event execution. Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events.
- Client Relations: Build strong rapport with clients, address their needs promptly, and ensure complete satisfaction before, during, and after events.
- Financial Management: Oversee event budgets, ensure accurate invoicing, and manage departmental expenses.
- Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and special offers via social media and other channels
