Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Functional Analyst - Leasing & Contracts based in Watford.
The Contract Authoring (CAU) Functional Analyst supports the Enterprise Support and Development team primarily through an incident process from an application perspective to support business requirements in Ricoh CAU including authoring of OKS and OKL contracts, reporting, rebooking, leasing, and elements of the sales order process. This includes understanding the authoring operations, providing technical insights and support to identify opportunities for process improvement.
The objective is to meet SLAs, which have been agreed with the business and as a Functional Analyst for our B2B application you will be given a high level of responsibility during the development life cycle of SHARE project.

What you will be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides 3rd level functional/technical support to key users and internal teams, for example solves incidents by analysing issues and taking corrective action that may require functional/technical specifications to be passed to resources for coding/testing.
  • Provides support to key users, for example solves incidents and problems by analysing issue and taking corrective action that may require technical input to achieve the optimal results.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to co-ordinate activities to deliver availability of the applications within specified SLAs.
  • Works with Functional Consultants and the business for defining solutions and assessing the impact of changes.
  • Performs reviews of functional and technical designs to ensure optimum solutions are built.
  • Works together with colleagues to design, program and test any defects and prepare defect resolutions for production implementations.
  • Updates system documentation (functional specifications) to reflect changes.
  • Updates knowledge base for helpdesk and shares knowledge with colleagues and business.
  • Keeps track of relevant business and technical developments.

  • Participates in implementation of process and system changes which deliver clearly defined and agreed business benefits.
  • Active promotion of process and application is evidenced through Key Performance Indicators, demonstrating consistency of behaviour for Ricoh EMEA
  • Demonstrates close co-operation with Ricoh Business Services and Operating Companies entities to contribute towards the overall success of Ricoh by stakeholder management to ensure that objectives and projects are accomplished; building and maintaining effective working relationships.

You will ideally have

Education:

  • Educated to degree level standard (or equivalent) preferred, or relevant business experience.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Good communicator and influencer: excellent interpersonal communication skills, essential to achieve business objectives with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to communicate concisely, clearly and effectively across functions and cultures.
  • Personal competences: high attention to details, ability to work independently, a can-do-attitude.
  • 3+ years working in a similar process area role.
  • Keen interest in understanding the use of applications functionality to deliver business process.
  • Ability to demonstrate a customer focus, with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A strong team player with a willingness to acquire and share knowledge.
  • Ability to work with others and independently.
  • Logical mind, with a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Analytical mindset
  • Relevant industry experience would be advantageous.
  • Tools such as ServiceNow.

Professional Experiences:

  • Functional experience of SHARE Oracle application.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Familiarity of Siebel.
