Functional Business Analyst (12-month contract)

To strengthen our Operational Business Solutions team at Euroports, we are actively looking for a temporary (12-month contract) Functional Business Analyst (m/f) for our operational business solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

We expect from you:

• Education: Master’s degree holder or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 to 7 years in a similar position.
• Industry: prior working experience in the maritime sector or in the sector of our customers is a plus.
• Languages: English is essential. Dutch is an absolute plus, other languages within the group a nice to have.
• People management: prior experience leading small teams of developers.
• Tools: Ipos, LGS, Port Opera, Y-type, LMS, …
• Skills & Competencies: analytical, problem solving, sense of ownership, result driven, make necessary adjustments, persuasive, implementation and business process management.

• Conducting technical analyses of operational systems as a business analyst, in close cooperation with the operational departments.
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting of ongoing operational systems.
• Managing a team of three developers, with a focus on development in Apex.
• Internal: Collaborate with the IT department, super users within the operational departments in various countries where Euroports is active, and the center of excellence.
• External: Communication and collaboration with software vendors
