Responsibilities:

UST is seeking an experienced Functional Business Analyst with deep expertise in the core banking domain.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consulting and core banking product implementation, as well as a comprehensive understanding of business process modeling and key financial modules. This role involves direct interaction with clients, coordinating across teams, and contributing to transformative core banking initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and develop process hierarchies, aligning with best practices and client objectives.
  • Leverage core banking product implementation experience to contribute effectively in delivering and optimizing client banking solutions.
  • Provide functional insights across modules, including Customer Management, Current & Savings Accounts, Deposits, Lending, Payments, Fees & Charges, Limits, Money Market, Standing Orders, Fund Transfer, and Financial Accounting.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, facilitating clear communication and delivering exceptional client-facing service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on regional regulatory needs, local clearing processes, and payment rails (e.g., BACS, CHAPS, UK FPS).
  • Support migration from legacy core systems as part of the client’s transformation journey, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Collaborate across internal teams and client PMO/business teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Document requirements, create user stories, and produce project reports as per the agreed governance structure.
  • Utilize SQL to perform data queries, create basic stored procedures, and support analysis requirements.
