Description:
FONCTION
Are you the person who can link the operational needs of our organization to the appropriate software package? Do you enjoy doing ICT research and consulting with various stakeholders in order to help ensure perfect business-IT alignment?
Then you are the Functional Analyst we are looking for in our ICT Applications team at Sodexo, so you can help ensure excellent service at our operations across Belgium.
Your responsibilities as an ICT functional analyst include:
- Researcher: You are a fluent communicator and deep listener. You will consult with all stakeholders within Sodexo to define the requirements of a software package. You will interact with end users, department managers, board members,… to determine the requirements for a software package and the gaps that currently exist. You determine the needs and examine which functionalities are necessary for optimal operation.
- Comparative market analysis: You will compare existing software packages on the market and look for the one that best fits Sodexo’s needs. You do a thorough analysis of all functionalities of the packages on the market, and look for the best fit. You do this taking into account certain preconditions, such as legislation and budget. You do a market comparative research and prepare qualitative and clear documentation about your findings (presentations, reports, flow charts, graphs, …). You also build up a relationship with our software suppliers in order to help shape their roadmaps.
- Presentation and Communication: You will present your findings to all kinds of parties so that the right package can be chosen in a timely manner. You will explain your research and comparative analysis to various stakeholders. You will also do this with the necessary documentation and supporting documents and convince your interlocutors of your findings. You provide clear answers to questions from potential users and responsible parties. You are able to fluently translate technical terms into business language.
- ICT - Support and evaluation: After the right software system is chosen, you also play an important role. You are present during and after the implementation process and offer support for questions and difficulties. You ensure that the implementation of the new system runs smoothly and help users with operational questions. You will also do a final evaluation of the system after implementation. If applicable, you will also be responsible for preparing manuals and instructions for the end users.
