Description:

IDG CAPITAL MANAGEMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.

We are a rapidly growing private equity and venture capital (PE/VC) firm focusing on the Greater China region. To cope with our business expansion, we are looking for dynamic and self-motivated candidates to join as Fund Accountant / Senior Fund Accountant. The role will be based in Singapore.

ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS:

  • Good analytical, report-writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and multitasking.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Mandarin will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with the operations of PE/VC funds will be an advantage.

EDUCATION/ RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Accountancy (CPA/ACCA/ACA) or finance or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant financial reporting/fund accounting/fund administration experience in the investment industry
  • Experience with IFRS and US GAAP financial reporting will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer/Controller, you will be responsible for the administration of a portfolio of PE/VC funds, including but not limited to financial reporting, portfolio valuation, handling of payments, and managing the SPVs. The job role requires you to liaise with various overseas offices on a daily basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the financial reporting and preparation of capital accounts of the funds;
  • Prepare valuation reports on portfolio investments;
  • Prepare fund/portfolio performance data for management and investors;
  • Manage bank accounts of the funds and SPVs and arrange payments;
  • Monitor the liquidity position of the funds and arrange capital calls and distributions;
  • Assist in corporate secretarial duties including company incorporations, and preparation of board minutes and resolutions, etc;
  • Undertake general fund administration duties and other special projects as assigned.
