Description:
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
With your decision to join State Street Luxembourg SimCorp Fund Service Unit you will become part of a motivated team working in the domain of fund accounting, client servicing incl. distribution process and contributing to withholding tax reclaim process.
We provide comprehensive support for internal and external clients including but not limited to:
- Fund accounting, i.e., lifecycle from transaction processing, valuation to NAV dissemination
- Entire accounting system processes including related projects
- Collaboration and communication with our competence centres in Germany and Poland and auditors will be part of your daily work.
EDUCATION & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/MA degree in a related field or similar education within the financial industry

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Fund transaction oversight for equities, bonds, derivatives and FX
- Oversight and reconciliation of transaction and costs incl. review & explanations of any deviations to client front office system
- Creation of interface data for automated booking processes
- Support of daily accounting system tasks and process documentation
- Daily NAV dissemination
- Maintenance of fund static data in accounting system
- Contribution to fund distribution process
- Servicing the client in the withholding tax reclaim process
- Assistance of management and team to ensure all deliverables are produced on time in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards
- Assistance in the review of corporate documentation of processes, procedures, and controls
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
- Knowledge of fund accounting processes or
- experience in the domain of investment tax service
- PC literate with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and fund accounting systems (Simcorp Dimension would be considered as an asset)
- Fluent in German (in writing as well), robust knowledge in English, any 3rd language would be beneficial
- multitask effectively, work independently within tight deadlines, ability to prioritise under pressure
- A solution-oriented person with an open mindset and an attitude to do better every day
- communicate effectively in writing and in meetings, collaborate respectfully and trustfully with colleagues and business partners at all level
