Who we are looking for
This managerial position has responsibility for managing the day to day Fund Accounting administration service ensuring that all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time and in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards.
You will act as a senior escalation point within the team for all internal State Street and Client related queries and is expected to take ownership or delegate as appropriate.
The candidate is also be responsible for the management of staff, ensuring that all staff are trained, coached and developed in line with their role and development pathways.
The Accounting AVP is directly responsible for leading projects, performing team and department level analysis of the process, running initiatives related to all aspects of the business at departmental level.

What you will be responsible for

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) will manage the accounting delivery process ensuring that all deliverables are quality controlled and dispatched on time, in accordance with client service level agreements. Key management priorities include:

  • Cash and Stock escalation
  • NAV production and disemincation oversight
  • Reporting oversight
  • Accounting query resolution
  • Near Miss and Error logging

The AVP will be responsible for ensuring all standard controls are applied across all clients and work with, CoE’s and the Governance Controls Team where controls have failed or gaps are identified.
The AVP will be responsible for staff management, ensuring that all staff has regular meetings and forums are in place to discuss team matters. The AVP will oversee the objective setting and appraisal process for direct reports.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
