Description:

We are offering a job opportunity for a Fund Accountant in San Francisco, California. This role involves working for a Private Equity firm, with a focus on finance-related tasks and responsibilities. The job function includes working with Cap Calls, Expense Review, and producing management memos among other tasks. This role is also expected to involve report generation and building out dashboards, with any experience in automation being a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with Cap Calls to ensure accurate and timely financial operations
  • Reviewing expenses and making appropriate recommendations or decisions
  • Producing management memos to communicate important information
  • Generating reports to provide insights into financial status and progress
  • Building out dashboards for easy access and understanding of financial data
  • Utilizing any experience with automation to improve financial processes
  • Engaging in other finance-related tasks as required by the Private Equity firm
  • Utilizing skills in Private Equity and Fund Accounting to perform job functions effectively and efficiently
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting
  • Proficiency in Private Equity and Private Equity Fund operations is essential
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Fund Accounting principles and methodologies is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA or CFA are desirable
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
