JOB SUMMARY:
The Development Coordinator will assist in leading and overseeing our organization’s fundraising efforts, ensuring the sustainability and growth of programs and initiatives. The Development Coordinator will use strategic planning skills and strong relationship-building abilities to assist in driving the development and implementation of fundraising strategies to engage donors and raise funds to support our mission.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least two years’ related experience required.
- Computer literacy required

About Us
Community Strategies (CS) supports adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities through specialized services that include Day Programs, Shared Living arrangements with providers, as well as over forty community-based group homes. Social Justice Services (SJS), supports those leaving incarceration to make positive, sustainable life transitions through residential and non-residential programs. Behavioral Health (BH) has worked to break cycles of violence, crime, and incarceration by providing client-centered interventions and support services to empower and strengthen individuals, families, and communities. BH provides domestic violence treatment and education, community reentry services, mentoring programs, and intensive outpatient programs. The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI) is a non-profit organization working at the local, state, and national level to improve public safety and the delivery of justice. CJI provides technical assistance, research, and other services to improve outcomes in policing, the corrections system, pre-trial, re-entry, community supervision, and juvenile justice.

Responsibilities:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Fund Development Coordinator will oversee the marketing consultant to ensure marketing deliverable such as web site design and content, social media posts, and other fund development materials are completed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Asist in planning and evaluating fundraising campaigns and activities.
- Asist in managing the organization’s fundraising budget and fundraising income.
- Coordinate identifying and stewarding prospective donors along with Development team.
- Asist marketing consultant with social media posting to broaden CRJ/FRE community presence.
- Communicating with donors and staff via email, phone or social media.
- Answering donor and staff inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Asist marketing consultant in creating solicitation materials for the fundraising team.
