Responsibilities:

The role sits within the London based Fund Financial Reporting (FFR) Team which oversees the Fund Financial Reporting and Audit obligations across Man Group’s circa 300 fund entities.
The individual will be responsible primarily for the oversight of the production of the funds’ audited financial statements and their review as well as other fund financial reporting obligations.

Responsibilities

  • To support the day-today function of the FFR team including the production of reporting & audit timetables, tracking of financial statement production against those timetables, facilitating the resolution of issues and monitoring the status of the audits to help ensure that timetables and regulatory deadlines are met
  • Review draft financial statements for accuracy, consistency and technical review to ensure FS are consistent with regulatory and reporting frameworks.
  • Lead the oversight from a technical accounting perspective across a group of funds, alongside managing the review process being performed by other Man teams
  • Organising and collating of reporting required to provide to the Fund Administrators as part of financial statement production
  • Present to Fund Board of Directors on audit progress and explain/clarify issues identified as well as co-ordination of Board sign off
  • Oversee outsourced relationships with providers of services to the financial statement review process such as the Fund Administrators
  • Assisting with ad hoc requests and projects in respect of the oversight process
  • Assist with the production of monthly and ad hoc internal reports. Support the continuous improvement in the Financial Statements process
  • Maintain internal documentation on team processes and policies.
