The Opportunity
As a Fund Operations Associate, you will partner with the Funds Management and Investor Relations teams to deliver a premium client experience and efficient support across our Unlisted Funds Management platform. Your background will enable you to be a focal point for performing client servicing and operational functions, being pro-active, providing service excellence, coupled with a strong understanding of clients, markets and Dexus’ products.
You will make an impact by:
- Managing investor relations, handling investor queries, and ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
- Overseeing outsourced registry services, coordinate new client onboarding, and ensure adherence to Dexus’ AML/CTF Program.
- Ensuring Service Level Agreements are met, review investor queries for improvements, and handle investor transactions and escalations.
- Supporting business growth by setting up new funds with external and internal systems, reviewing fund structures and documents. The Fund Operations Associate will also assist in managing the platform, dealer groups, and planner network to maintain premier service quality.
- Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as required.
About You
To be successful, you will have a tertiary qualification in a commerce, finance, accounting, economics or property discipline. In addition, you will likely have a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within a fund/investment manager or in a registry role.
You will have effective time management and prioritization skills. You’ll be confident in working independently, taking initiative, and completing tasks responsibly. You will possess intellectual curiosity, a practical mindset, and confidence in sharing views. You will have solid negotiation, mediation, conflict management, and customer retention skills. Lastly, you will possess a positive attitude and team spirit, and can interact well with diverse personalities at all levels.
