Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will be an essential and integral part of the team at Aira Scotland, guiding our customers through the Home Energy Scotland (HES) Grant and Loan application process. You will provide crucial support by answering queries over the phone and via email, liaising with HES and the Energy Saving Trust (EST) to resolve any issues that may arise, and ensuring smooth communication throughout the process.
As part of your responsibilities, you will ensure that customers receive all necessary documentation upon the completion of installations, enabling them to proceed with grant drawdown. Additionally, you will assist customers with the completion of funding paperwork, follow up on overdue payments, and monitor the status of grant disbursements.
This role requires working from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, three days per week. While our office is based in Stirling, remote working will be considered for experienced applicants. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, with strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex processes for our clients. You should be proactive, resilient when pursuing funding, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Supporting our customers through the HES Grant and Loan application process
- Answering calls and emails relating to the Grant and Loan application process
- Liaising with HES and EST to support customer queries or difficulties with the Grant and Loan application process
- Providing our customers with a full handover pack on completion of our installations to enable the grant drawdown
- Supporting customers in completing the funding drawdown paperwork
- Liaising with EST regarding overdue payments
- Chasing customers for payment when grant funding has been drawn down
