Description:
We have an exciting role of Funding Manager. In this role, you will provide leadership to the regional funding team and engage with key internal and external stakeholders to maintain an efficient and effective funding support function. You will provide our homes with funding support and advice, review resident documentation and work collaboratively with key homes’ personnel to ensure optimal AN-ACC funding is achieved for all residents within the region. The Funding Manager will have varied responsibilities including:
- Provide effective leadership, education, guidance, mentoring and support to the local team of Funding Business Partners, Care Documentation Leads and other key personnel to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure consistent application of the Government funding rules within the region.
- Maintain a schedule of AN-ACC assessments and reassessments.
- Effectively influence key stakeholders by providing sound advice and support to ensure relevant care documentation (including medical history information, care assessments, care plans, charts, progress notes and other records) is completed in a timely manner and is readily available for the external ANACC assessment visits.
- Audit resident care documentation within the scope of AN-ACC requirements to ensure it is up-to-date, complete, accurately reflects residents’ care needs and complies with relevant legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication and build business relationships with AN-ACC assessment organisations.
- Review relevant data, reports and documentation to identify opportunities and areas of underperformance; develop and recommend improvement strategies to key stakeholders.
- Assist Residential Aged Care Managers and Clinical Directors to identify risks in funding-related processes and documentation and implement risk-mitigation strategies.
